The "Cracking AI Job Interview" webinar was successfully held on 28 November 2023. Mr Roland Leung, Managing Director of Datality Lab, shared his experience towards interview success in the ever-evolving field of artificial intelligence. Participants gathered to gain valuable insights and tips for excelling in AI job interviews. An AI Interview trial was also given to the participants, allowing them to apply the strategies they learned after the seminar.

HKLSS Summer Internship Program 2023 officially came to an end. 32 talented interns and 16 prestigious companies have participated in this year's program in Hong Kong and Shanghai for 6 weeks.

Our interns gathered at the reunion to share their internship experience at the biotech/life sciences companies in Hong Kong and Shanghai on 30 August 2023. They had a great time catching up and reflecting on the goals they set before the HKLSS Summer Internship Program 2023.
HKLSS Summer Internship Program 2023 concluded successfully with a closing ceremony on 12 August 2023. Mr Vincent Cheung, Founder and Chairman of HKLSS and CEO of Nan Fung Group, representatives from participating companies and interns attended the event.
During the ceremony, employer representatives from Hong Kong and Shanghai shared their thoughts and words of encouragement with our interns. Moreover, our interns had the opportunity to share their internship experiences and reflect on the key takeaways from the Program. Prof Ken Wong, Executive Director of HKLSS, delivered closing remarks expressing gratitude to all partners for their support and congratulating the interns on completing the internship program.
We extend our heartfelt appreciation to all participating companies and speakers for their unwavering support. Congratulations to all 32 interns on successfully completing the Summer Internship Program!
Professor Dennis Lo, Vice-Chairman of HKLSS and President of Hong Kong Academy of Sciences, led the interns in Hong Kong to visit Centre for Novostics on 29 July 2023. Centre for Novostics was founded by Professor Lo. He introduced the center's research and development techniques for single gene disease and other pregnancy-related conditions, and showcased the scientific equipment used within the center. Professor Lo also shared his valuable insights from years of engaging in scientific research with the interns and answered their questions.
On 29 July 2023, Professor Anderson Shum, Associate Vice-President (Research and Innovation) of The University of Hong Kong, joined the interns in Shanghai to visit the headquarters of MobiDrop, a Chinese biotech startup located in Zhejiang. Dr Hao Pei, Founder and CEO of MobiDrop, along with Dr Wenshan Zheng, Founder and CTO, introduced the company's research projects focused on independent innovation in genetic testing and shared their entrepreneurial journey with the interns.
