A Clearer Path Through Mentorship: Michelle Lee

HKLSS’ Mentorship Scheme has played, in Michelle’s words, a “quiet yet important role” in nurturing her through her academic journey and career aspirations.

The steady encouragement and thoughtful advice from Michelle’s mentor have guided her decision-making process, particularly as she prepares to pursue a PhD after completing her undergraduate studies. She remains deeply grateful for the insights shared, which not only fostered her academic advancement but also instilled confidence in her future path.

Michelle’s commitment to life sciences was reaffirmed when she won gold medal at the 2024 iGEM competition – a significant milestone in her portfolio that she attributes to HKLSS’ support.

Michelle Lee's experience with HKLSS:

• Mentorship Scheme (2025-26)
• Life Sciences Summer Internship Program, at Belun Technology (2024)
• Hong Kong Life Sciences Scholarship Award (2024)
• GBA-Shanghai Study Tour (2026)
