Dr Charleston Sin is a veteran technology leader currently serving as the Executive Director of mComo, an AI application firm, a Co-founder of Peach Bioverse, a health data startup, and Co-founder of Kapok Capital, a deep tech investment firm, with focus on digital health.
Dr Sin was Executive Director of MIT Hong Kong Innovation Node. Prior to joining MIT, Dr Sin held executive positions in research and development, product management, and sales & marketing at VMware, Cisco Systems, and Nortel Networks in the United States, Canada, Asia Pacific, and Greater China for 25 years.
He is Professor of Practice in the Faculty of Business at the Hong Kong Polytechnic University and Adjunct Full Professor of Department of Electric and Electronic Engineering of the Hong Kong University.
Dr Sin spends time to serve digital health community. He is the President of Hong Kong eHealth Consortium; a co-op member of Information Technology Services Committee (ITSC) of Hong Kong Hospital Authority; and a member of the Steering Committee on eHealth of Health Bureau, HK SAR.
Dr Sin studied Innovation Management and received his PhD in Management Sciences at Faculty of Engineering, the University of Waterloo in Canada in 1998.
